BERWICK RANGERS RESERVES 2007/08:

Manager Richard Young
Richard has been part of Berwick Rangers Youth Initiative for the last four years giving up his weekends at St James Park to watch a successful team in The North East. Richard will manage the new reserve team Age 40+

Coach Stephen Lennon
Stephen has also been part of Berwick Rangers Youth Initiative for the last four years but still manages to follow Celtic Reserves at Easter Road.

Coach Neil Oliver
Neil a former player of Berwick Rangers who also played for Blackburn Rovers and Falkirk is now assisting Richard with the reserve side and provides excellent technical support in training and during matches.

David Easton
6`4 ex-Falkirk, lives in Edinburgh. This will be David`s second season with the club. David is also a student. Age 18.

Dean Avery
5`10, Lives in Seahouses, has been away for 1 season playing for his home town team but returns for pre-season, a plasterer to trade known as “Deano” Age 18

Kieran Ainslie
6`2, Lives in Berwick, been with the club since the youth initiative started 4 years ago, apprentice electrician for alchema. Previously played for Berwick Rangers juniors, known as “keys” Age 18

Jordan Ainslie
6`1, Lives in Berwick, 3rd season with the club. Previously with Tweedmouth Juniors. Apprentice bricklayer for his sins.”known as strepsils” Age 18

Andrew Mclean
6`1 Lives in Hawick,3rd season with the club. Previously played for Tynecastle BC. Has featured in the first team squad as a substitute.Trainee Landscape Gardener, known as “Colin Hendry” loves his guns even though Jamie Gibsons are bigger!! Age 18

Ross Hastie
5`10 lives in Dunbar, 2nd season with the club. Previously played for Dunbar Utd and works in Somerfield, known as “Hastie” Age 18

Alan Jess
5`7 Lives in Chirnside,3rd season with the club, previously with Tweedmouth Juniors. Alan is an apprentice electrician with Neil Oliver in the town,known as “jessy” Local paper reports he has had his ear pierced during pre-season. Age 18

Hughie Masters
5`11 lives in Dunbar, 2nd season with the club. Previously played for Dunbar Utd, also plays tennis for Scotland Known as “sharapova” to some!!!! Age 18

Shaun Walton
5`9 lives in Lowick, 3rd season with club. Previously played for Tweedmouth Juniors. Works as a painter in the town with Ian Grieve, known as “shamous” Age 18

Kevin Cairnie
5-8 lives in Port Seaton, 2nd season with club. Previously played for Hutchison Vale. Known as “federline” to some!! Age 19

Dougie Brydon
6`2 lives in Duns,1st season with club. Previously played for Duns Amateurs. Rally driving another of his talents.(well what else can you do in Duns) Age 20

Jamie Gibson
Lives in Tweedbank, 3rd season with club. Leading goalscorer previous 2 seasons. Made his first tream debut vs Arbroath in 2006. Works as a painter in his hometown, known as “gibby” and he loves his guns too!!!! Age 18

Johnny Simpson
5`10 lives in Berwick, 3rd season with club. Works as a plumber with Colin Easton in the town, known as “john”, previously played for Tweedmouth Juniors Age 18

Sean Simpson
5`10 lives in berwick, 4th season with club. Works as a joiner in the town for John Creelie. Previously played for Berwick Rangers Juniors, Kieran Ainslie has a nickname for him which shall remain a guarded secret!!!! Age 18
